The aim of the online Fire Museum of Youngstown is to preserve both past and present fire related Youngstown, Ohio artifacts. This medium allows for the sharing of historical information when it is impossible or impractical to display the physical object. The main reason is because the object is part of a person's or organization's collection. Another reason may be that the acquisition of an item is cost prohibitive.

It is my hope someday to maintain a physical museum displaying many pieces of history from the Youngstown Fire Department. You will see some of the unique items I already own as you browse this site (if you haven't looked around already).
